Responsibilities

How You\'ll Perform The Role

• Continuously perform all required tasks in a safe manner, adhering to all established safety rules and procedures. Must take immediate action to correct and / or report any unsafe conditions and hazards.
• Develop, implement and ensure all corporate and plant safety policies and procedures are being followed and are up to date.
• Maintain total compliance with all OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Administer safety training updates for shipping / receiving employees, ensuring all lift and clamp truck safety rules are communicated and understood.
• Work with Corporate EHS Manager on plant safety and environmental issues.
• Perform and document required Mobile Inspections.
• Conduct required training and new employee orientation.
• Follow all Food Contact Packaging Safety requirements as outline in the SQF Quality Manual and GMP\'s.
• Liaison for government agencies and emergency responders.
• Lead efforts, projects, and cross-functional compliance teams in the direction of continuously improving work environment that is safe and environmentally friendly.
