As a Help Desk Support Specialist , you'll play a key role in keeping Maverik's systems running smoothly by providing exceptional technical support across our stores and corporate operations. From resolving IT issues to coordinating vendor dispatch and troubleshooting equipment, you'll ensure every store team can deliver the great experience our customers expect.

This role is based at our Salt Lake City Headquarters with a 4-day hybrid in-office schedule.
Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities :
The Help Desk Support Specialist provides timely and effective assistance via email and phone, troubleshooting system and equipment issues and ensuring technical reliability across Maverik's network.
- Respond to inquiries via email and phone, researching and providing accurate information.
- Troubleshoot technical problems, explore solutions, and escalate unresolved issues as needed.
- Maintain and manage the ticketing system with complete and accurate documentation.
- Dispatch vendors or maintenance technicians to resolve store-level equipment issues.
- Support system users with hardware and software challenges, including POS systems, scanners, and printers.
- Analyze data to identify stores experiencing slow fuel flow, pump, or equipment issues.
- Ensure consistent and reliable operations for store systems and equipment.
You'll be a great fit for this adventure if you have :
1+ years of experience in a help desk or technical support role, ideally in retail or C-Store environments.Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills , with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally across departments.Familiarity with ticketing and remote support tools , such as Jira, Confluence, or similar systems.Experience supporting Windows-based systems (Windows CE / Mobile, 7, 8, or embedded).High attention to detail and follow-through , ensuring accurate documentation and issue resolution.The Maverik Spirit - you're a clear communicator, team player, and problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.Bonus points if you also bring :

Pay Range : $18.50-$22.50 + DOE and Bonus Opportunities
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
