About The Position

🌟 Oncology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (Permanent Role)

📍 Coos Bay, OR – 97420

A 127-bed Level III Trauma Center in Southern Oregon’s coastal region is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Caregiver (NP or PA) to join its thriving Oncology service line . This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering the chance to make a meaningful impact while enjoying life on Oregon’s Adventure Coast!

💼 Position Highlights :

Schedule : Full-time, Day Shift (Four 10-hour shifts)

No nights or weekends!

Paid call shared equally among providers

Primarily Outpatient with occasional Inpatient consults

Work within a comprehensive Cancer Center

Access to radiation therapy, chemotherapy, infusion services, clinical trials , and more

Collaborative environment with experienced oncologists and a high-caliber infusion nursing team

Supportive administrative structure and excellent multidisciplinary coordination

🧠 Skills & Qualifications :

✅ Board Certified NP or PA (Required)

✅ AONCP certification (or in process) for NP candidates – Required

✅ Oregon License (or willingness to obtain) – Required

✅ Oncology experience (Inpatient / Outpatient) – Preferred

✅ Clean malpractice history and NPDB self-query report – Required

✅ Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient-care skills

✅ Team-oriented mindset with professionalism and compassion

💰 Compensation & Benefits (Permanent Role) :

💵 Average Annual Rate : $135,626.50
