Job descriptionPerform gross examination and dissection of surgical tissue specimens under the supervision of a pathologist. Assist with autopsies, including dissection, specimen collection, and documentation. Prepare and maintain detailed reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with lab standards. Ensure specimens are properly labeled, preserved, and processed according to lab protocols. Maintain laboratory instruments and ensure a clean and safe work environment. Collaborate with pathologists, technicians, and other lab staff to ensure smooth workflow. Bachelors or Masters degree from a NAACLS-accredited Pathologist Assistant program . ASCP certification as a Pathologists Assistant (PA) required. Minimum 12 years of experience in surgical pathology or a related laboratory setting preferred. Strong attention to detail, organizational, and documentation skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Competitive hourly pay ($95$100 / hr W2) 10-hour day shifts consistent schedule Supportive team environment Opportunity to work in a reputable healthcare facility
