Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated PLC Controls Technician to join our dynamic team in Ecru, MS. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our PLC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. If you have a passion for automation and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain PLC systems and related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PLC programs and hardware.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on control systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize system performance.
  • Document all maintenance activities and system changes.
  • Provide technical support and training to team members as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in PLC technology.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics and control systems.
  • Familiarity with HMI and SCADA systems is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
