Little Hands Daycare is a licensed childcare center seeking Lead Teachers!

Age groups : Two Year Olds

Position : Lead Teacher

Shift : Monday - Friday, varies

Compensation : $20-23 per hour , based on education and experience

Base pay range

$20.00 / hr - $23.00 / hr

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides.
• Implement lesson plans / curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carry out lesson plans according to classroom schedule / daily routine; use our parent communication app efficiently.
• Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
• Be responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; maintain an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom.
• Maintain a child assessment and portfolio for each child, and conduct biannual parent / teacher conferences during November and May.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
• Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
