We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Obstetrician and Gynecologist for a locum tenens position near Fort Bragg, NC. This role is ideal for a physician looking for a short-term assignment with call-only coverage.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Patient Care : Round on patients, providing comprehensive care during inpatient stays.
  • Clinical Duties : Be on-call for emergent C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and any emergent GYN procedures.
  • High-Risk Deliveries : Manage emergent high-risk deliveries, with transfers to specialized facilities as needed.
  • Support Staff : Collaborate with hospitalist support staff, on-call anesthesiology, and radiology support.
  • Delivery Statistics : Average 27 deliveries monthly, with 11 being C-sections; manage 3 labor rooms and 14 postpartum beds.

  • Experience : Must be actively delivering babies, with case logs from the past 24 months.
  • Credentialing : The estimated credentialing timeframe is 10 days.

  • Patient Demographics : Pediatric patients aged 0-17, with trauma care for ages 0-15.
