Plant Engineering & Reliability Manager

Lead end-to-end engineering excellence across the plant

Own the strategy and day-to-day leadership of Engineering, Extrusion, Maintenance, and Tooling. You will steer production performance, elevate OEE, and deliver on cost commitments while ensuring equipment reliability, environmental compliance, and a safe working environment.

A day in this role

Your morning starts with a quick huddle aligning Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality on priorities to protect output and cost targets. You review OEE and production dashboards, assess capital deployment options, and finalize CAR submissions for upcoming projects. On the floor, you verify that facilities and production assets are properly maintained. In the afternoon, you coach and develop the technical team, coordinate manufacturing and technical initiatives with operations, and track spend against the AOP budget. You close the day by confirming compliance across PSM, RMP, and Title V programs and progressing raw material efficiency objectives.

What you will lead

• Provide strategic leadership for Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Extrusion, and Tooling to maximize production volume while meeting cost targets.
• Manage the plant capital budget and the Engineering expense budget; identify and prioritize capital deployment opportunities.
• Prepare and submit CARs; coordinate all capital activities through execution.
• Ensure plant facilities and production equipment are properly maintained and supported to sustain production.
• Coordinate communication and implementation of manufacturing and technical initiatives.
• Own the AOP budget for technical group salaries, building and grounds, maintenance materials, and utilities.
• Meet site environmental compliance requirements and support plant safety programs.
• Own the RTO process and oversee PSM, RMP, and Title V processes and programs.
• Oversee materials management with accountability for raw material efficiency.
• Hire, manage salaries, lead performance management (including disciplinary actions), and drive employee development; build technical talent across the team.
