Overview

Sideshow’s Media Team is seeking a Motion Graphics Artist & Editor who handles After Effects like a pro. We work on a variety of videos with many different effects. We are looking for someone who can create killer graphics, has an eye for design and timing, and can help streamline the process to push videos further. They should have social media experience and understand what content tends to engage audiences or go viral. Examples of projects include :

Responsibilities

Animate and edit videos using After Effects and Premiere Pro with expert-level skills.

Design graphics with strong sense of composition, timing, and visual impact.

Collaborate in a team environment and also work independently; take criticism and revise cuts as needed.

Think creatively to streamline workflows and push video quality further.

Apply social media insight to create engaging content.

Qualifications

Required Skills

5-7 years graphics experience preferred.

Ability to function on a team, as well as work independently.

Ability to take criticism and be prepared to redo or adjust the cut.

Ability to productively function in a creative work environment.

Strong sense of design, composition and timing.

Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop

Expert knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro

Expert knowledge with popular AE plugins (Trapcode Suite, Video Copilot Element 3D, Optical Flares, Magic Bullet Looks, etc.)

Experience with 3D Software (Maya, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, Blender)

Bonus Skills

Experience with Basecamp or other project management software usage.

Audio skills (post production)

Geeky interests aren’t required, but are a plus!

Details

Full time position in our Thousand Oaks Studio

Applicants will undergo background, credit and security check, if applicable.

Relocation assistance is NOT available.

References Preferred.

Applicants will undergo a paid graphics test.

Pay Range : 70-90k annually
