About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : RN

Specialty : Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM)

Experience : Minimum of 2 years current Surgical ICU experience and at least 2 previous travel assignments

License : RN License

Certifications : BLS, ACLS preferred; Critical Care Certification and trauma course preferred

Must-Have : Strong Surgical ICU experience

Description :

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Surgical Intensive Care Unit.

Candidates must have an active RN license and BLS certification.

Strong experience in a Surgical ICU is required.

Preferred qualifications include Critical Care Certification, trauma course completion, and ACLS certification.

The patient population includes trauma, transplant, vascular, GI, ortho-spine, and oncology patients.

Nurses may float as needed to areas with a similar skill set.

Weekend coverage is required for 3 out of 6 weekends in a 6-week schedule.

On-call availability is needed for 2 calls during the 6-week period.

Holidays may be required as needed.
