TITLE IV-A SPECIALIST, EFFECTIVE TECHNOLOGY

Job Summary
- Engage in performance management and collaborative monitoring activities to ensure grantees are accessing and expending Title IV-A and related program grant resources.
- Serve as the Title IV-A effective use of Technology Specialist.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to educate and support stakeholders regarding implementation and evaluation of Title IV-A, especially effective use of technology.
- Support implementation and evaluation of Title IV-A programs of ESSA and related areas such as Arts Education, Gifted Education, Advanced Placement, and college and career readiness programs.
- Occasional in-state and out-of-state travel may be required.
Responsibilities
Review grant applications to ensure programmatic and fiscal compliance for LEAs assigned to the caseload.Responsible for reviewing and approving Local Integrated Action Plans (LIAPs) and Site Integrated Action Plans (SIAPs) and fiscal grant applications.Engage in performance management and collaborative monitoring fiscal and programmatic activities to ensure grantees are accessing and expending Title IV-A and related grant resources.Develop and provide professional learning and technical assistance opportunities through face-to-face and virtual methods in collaboration with unit leadership, personnel, other ADE program areas, and external partners.Assist in preparing and completing administrative and monitoring reports.Collaborate and build supportive relationships with other sections within ADE and external stakeholders to coordinate technical assistance, professional development, monitoring, and alignment of resources for LEAs and schools.Other duties as assigned related to the position.Qualifications
Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) – Title IV, Part A and Arizona Revised Statutes, State Board of Education rules.Evidence-based instructional pedagogy and strategies.Understanding of needs of traditionally underserved students.Implementation of well-rounded instructional programs.Standards and practices for professional learning (adult learning theory).Program evaluation techniques.Education Department General Administrative Regulations (EDGAR).OMB Uniform Grant Guidance (UGG).Multiple effective technological learning platforms and practices.Bachelor's degree in education or public administration, or equivalent experience.Preferred Experience
Three or more years of combined professional experience related to PK-12 education, preferably with Title I programs.Experience delivering technical assistance and professional learning in accelerated, enriched, well-rounded educational programs.Experience managing federal or state grants, including fiscal and programmatic management and reporting.Benefits
