Oncologist

Coryell Health is seeking an Oncologist to join our care team in Gatesville, TX.

Responsibilities :

• Diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients with cancer and blood disorders
• Prescribe chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormone therapy, and other medications to treat cancer
• Educate patients and families on treatment options, side effects, and prognosis
• Monitor patient progress through follow-up appointments and testing
• Coordinate care with surgeons, radiologists, nurses, and other specialists
• Participate in tumor boards to review complex cases
• Keep current on latest advancements in oncology through continuing education
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary care team
