Job descriptionPerform routine preventative maintenance on mobile equipment, including oil changes, fluid checks, and general inspections. Diagnose and repair minor mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on trucks, forklifts, and heavy machinery. Keeps Operations Supervisor informed on the condition of the equipment. Conduct safety checks and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards. Keeps records on the preventative maintenance and repairs performed on equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage. Assist with managing inventory and ordering parts needed for repairs. Collaborate with team members to coordinate repairs and minimize equipment downtime. Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and environmental regulations. Perform annual DOT inspections The ability to lift 25 / 50 / 80 pounds regularly The ability to respond quickly to sounds The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations The ability to safely climb ladders The ability to work in extreme weather The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
