Senior Epic Applications Analyst

A company is looking for a Senior Epic Applications Analyst in Information Technology.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and serve as a subject matter expert for specific content issues and solutions

Perform project management activities, including analysis, design, implementation, education, and support of application software

Consult and communicate extensively with clinical staff, administrative users, and external agencies to improve departmental workflow and patient safety

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, clinical area, or related field, or five+ years of relevant healthcare / IT experience

Minimum of three years' experience in implementing clinical information systems; five years preferred

EPIC Certification in Health Information Management

ITIL course and HIMSS certification to be completed within one year of hire

Strong understanding of hospital clinical and administrative operations and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
