Electrical / Instrument Maintenance (All Levels)

We are seeking safety-oriented individuals at all skill levels to join our electrical and instrumentation maintenance team. Primary responsibilities include maintaining equipment, performing tests and calibrations, and troubleshooting operational issues. All work supports shutdowns, production shifts, and turnaround projects, including rotating night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform tests and maintenance procedures for instruments used to measure and control flow, level, pressure, temperature, chemical composition, and other process variables.
  • Calibrate components and instruments according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and write test and maintenance reports.
  • Install control and measurement instruments on existing and new plant equipment and processes.
  • Consult with and advise process operators.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Successful completion of a technical electrical assessment.
  • Readiness to work varying hours, including shift, weekend, and holiday work.
  • Ability to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime and respond to emergency call-ins.
  • Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
  • Wearing required personal protective equipment.
  • Experience working in industrial conditions—warm / hot, dusty / dirty, around hazardous chemicals, loud machinery, or heights with proper safety training and protection.
  • Entry, Advanced, and Journeyman Requirements

  • Entry : Associate's Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation field or one year of related industrial electrical / instrumentation experience.
  • Advanced : Associate's Degree and either one year or three years of related experience.
  • Journeyman : Associate's Degree and either two years or five years of related experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the pulp and paper industry.
