Event Coordinator
We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing a variety of events, including corporate meetings, conferences, and social gatherings. This role requires an excellent ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while paying close attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events from conception to completion.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and event goals.
- Manage budgets, including tracking expenses and negotiating rates with vendors.
- Select and book venues, catering, entertainment, and other services.
- Oversee event logistics, including setup, execution, and teardown.
- Develop event timelines and ensure all parties are informed and prepared.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred.Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or in a similar role.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event planning software.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.Benefits
