Role Overview

As a Lead Electrical Technician, take the helm in diagnosing and implementing strategic preventative maintenance across electrical circuits including motors, control systems, and safety interlocks up to 480 volts. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical schematics and diagrams and involves leading the installation of new electrical services under the guidance of the Plant Maintenance Supervisor. Additionally, ensure the smooth functioning of our facility by overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment such as pumps, valves, and meters to prevent any operational downtime. Collaborate on construction projects and uphold all safety standards diligently.

Required Expertise

• A High School Diploma coupled with a completed 4-year Electrician Apprenticeship and two years of journeyman electrician experience in an industrial setting, or an Associate degree in Engineering Technology or Industrial Electricity with four years of similar experience.
• Readiness for overtime, inclusive of night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Capacity to work at heights and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficiency in interpreting complex schematics and tech diagrams.
• Completion of relevant assessments, background checks, and health examinations.
