Lexington Clinic is seeking full-time Advanced Practice Providers to join busy Monday-Friday primary care practices in Lexington and Nicholasville. These are outpatient opportunities. The average daily patient volume per provider is 18 to 25 and some of the in-office capabilities include on-site laboratory and x-ray. Summary of Role
As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), you will closely partner with physicians to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Perform medical services and procedures within the scope of your medical license.Conduct patient histories and physicalsInterpret clinical data and develop care plansRecommend and coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic proceduresSupport treatment management and follow-up careBuild meaningful relationships with patients, families, and colleaguesMaintain all requirements to maintain the license including CMEs.Collaborate with facility staff and interdisciplinary teamsEducate patients and families about treatment options and care goalsEnsure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for patientsThis role offers the opportunity to grow professionally while making a lasting impact on patients and their loved ones.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program; current APRN licensure in good standing (Kentucky or applicable state)OR graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program with NCCPA certification and Kentucky state licensure (or eligibility)Prior Family Medicine or Urgent Care experience preferredCurrent Healthcare Provider CPR certification requiredPhysical Requirements
Ability to remain mobile and / or in a stationary position for up to 8 hours / dayCapability to lift, move, and transport patients, equipment, and suppliesStrong manual dexterity, motor coordination, vision, and communication skillsAbility to accurately read and interpret provider ordersNote :
