About the Team :
The Reno PI Studio is responsible for the development of entertaining land-based slot machines. The studio is part of Bluberi's R&D department, which includes other development teams in the US and Canada. Our game development team is comprised of enthusiastic and experienced professionals across multiple disciplines including mathematics, visual arts, software engineering, game design, audio engineering and quality assurance. We work in a hybrid model to ensure effective iteration of creative content on target hardware while providing personal flexibility and work efficiency.
Job Summary :
The Project Manager IV is the connection between the studio and the external teams involved with internal studio projects and priorities. They ensure the communication across these projects is sound, report regularly on all progress and monitor information or changes to safeguard precise messaging. The Project Manager IV plans budgets, monitors and reports on all studio projects, whether they initiated it, or it was assigned to them once approved. The Project Manager IV is also instrumental in mentoring junior PM staff, as well as working with studio management and the project management team to help align high level studio roadmaps & resources.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :Defines the scope of the project in collaboration with the R&D team and clearly communicates the requirements to the development team.Is in constant contact with external teams relating to their specific projects; including, but not limited to : Quality Assurance, Technical Writing, BMM & Compliance, GDK team, Embedded Software team, Hardware team, 3rd Parties, etc.Determines the resources (time, budget, equipment, etc.) necessary to carry out the project.Develops and manages a detailed project schedule and work plan, working with studio management team on high level roadmaps in addition to individual projectsMonitors progress and make adjustments as needed.Provides project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders regarding strategy, adjustments, and progress.Tracks project costs in order to comply to efforts and budget.Measures project performance to identify areas for improvement.Utilizes industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.Coordinates resources with appropriate managers.Collaborates with the R&D team to ensure proper delivery of the product to operations.Mentors junior project management staff within the studio and company, sharing best practices, tools, and methods.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, project management or other related field.Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.Strong ability to identify, prevent and, if necessary, resolve problems.Good critical thinking, very organized and detail oriented.Strong leadership and change management skills.Demonstrates communication skills (written and verbal) in French and English.Knowledge of office automation tools (Office Suite).PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
