As a Security Professional - Residential Site Patrol - Overnight Shift in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. As a Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be instrumental in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment at a residential location. In this access control-focused role, your primary responsibility will be to monitor entry points, verify credentials, and assist residents and guests with a high level of customer service. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the premises to help to deter security-related incidents and remain visible as a reassuring presence. By fostering positive interactions and responding promptly to inquiries or concerns, you will contribute to a supportive community atmosphere.

Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeFri11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AMSat11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to residents and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Assist with access control by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the residential location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and / or concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with on-site staff and law enforcement as required to address security-related matters at the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
