Position Summary
The Instructional Technologist works with content experts (faculty), instructional designers, content developers, and other members of the design team to facilitate technology-rich teaching and learning content, create new e-learning material, and build courses in the School's Learning Management System (e.g. Canvas). This person will plan, organize, implement, review, and deploy online learning modules for the Online MSW program, and create new e-learning material based on the specifications of faculty and the design team. This person will test deployed material, address technical problems, and update created content on a regular basis. This person will identify new technology or educational means to provide users with a seamless experience, including troubleshooting new features and ensuring sites are working correctly. This person will work with multiple content experts at one time, assist with instructional and educational content development, multimedia development, and LMS technical expertise in support of students, faculty, and staff.
