Neonatal - Perinatal Medicine Physician

Neonatologist Position in Cartersville, Georgia

Pediatrix Medical Group , a national leader in neonatal and pediatric care, is excited to present an exceptional full-time opportunity for a Board Eligible / Board Certified Neonatologist. Join our newly established Level II NICU at a nationally ranked facility located in the charming and rapidly growing suburb of Cartersville, just 45 minutes north of downtown Atlanta.

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide comprehensive care to newborns requiring Level II NICU support
• Attend high-risk and C-section deliveries
• Cover a 12-bed newborn nursery, including well-baby care when pediatricians are unavailable
• Rounding in-house during the day
• Take call from home overnight
• Work collaboratively with nurses and allied staff
• Contribute to quality improvement and care coordination initiatives
• Support newborn resuscitation and stabilization as needed
