Job Description

Vistaprint’s internal 3-D imaging team is seeking a skilled and creative PR1 Level 3D Artist to support the business's expanding product offerings and brand image refresh. We are looking for a detail-oriented, flexible, and collaborative individual to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating still and moving 3D images of products, managing multiple projects, and adhering to deadlines. The ideal candidate will possess a strong artistic sense with a thorough understanding of color, texture, light, and industry-standard software.

Responsibilities

• 3D Modeling and Rendering : Utilize 3D modeling, texturing, and mapping techniques to produce photorealistic graphics and visual effects.
• Create 3D sculpts and assets that align with established artistic standards.
• Perform basic post-production on rendered images to prepare well-structured files for handoff.
• Accurately match the look, mood, and lighting from 2D reference imagery within the 3D environment.
• AI-Enhanced Imaging : Employ AI tools within the 3D process to generate realistic backgrounds, enhance final images, and improve overall visualization.
• Project Execution and Workflow Management : Interpret project briefs to understand requirements and conceptualize creative ideas.
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring adherence to project deadlines.
• Use Jira to provide timely updates on the status of 3D-related tasks.
• Review project scope and requirements to estimate the level of effort (LOE).
• Troubleshoot technical and creative problems that arise during project execution.
• Collaboration and Communication : Collaborate effectively with fellow 3D artists, team leads, photographers, and project coordinators.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Design, and Art Direction.
• Receive and apply constructive feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine creative work.
