Key Responsibilities :

Conduct pre-operative evaluations for patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgery.

• Develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Administer general anesthesia and monitor patients throughout the surgical procedure using advanced monitoring techniques, including transesophageal echocardiography (TEE).
• Provide post-operative pain management and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth recovery.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently within the Meditech electronic medical records system.

Qualifications for Success :

Current board certification in anesthesiology with a subspecialty certification in cardiothoracic anesthesia is mandatory.
