Title : Cath Lab Technologist
Location : Anderson, SC
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (07 : 30 - 16 : 00) Monday-Friday; occasional late stay until 18 : 00-19 : 00
Job Responsibilities :
Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and other interventional cardiology procedures.Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy and intravascular ultrasound systems.Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic data during procedures.Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring adherence to safety and sterile technique standards.Maintain detailed procedure documentation within the EPIC charting system.Ensure proper operation and maintenance of cath lab equipment and imaging systems.Participate in on-call rotation once per week and every 3rd-4th weekend as required.Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Adhere to all hospital infection control, radiation safety, and quality assurance policies.Required Skills & Experience :
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.Proficiency with EPIC charting system.Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and operate specialized imaging and monitoring equipment.Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, hemodynamics, and interventional procedures.Excellent communication and teamwork skills within a fast-paced, procedural environment.Certifications & Licensure :
BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required.RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or CCI Certification - Required.South Carolina State License - Required.About HonorVet Technologies
