Ultrasound Technologist (GYN Only) Fishersville (Part-Time)

Responsibilities :

• Performs ultrasound studies in a clinical environment, including abdominal, vaginal and GYN exams.
• The sonographer must have a clear understanding of image formation and display.
• The sonographer must have a clear understanding of fetal growth and development, as well as the basics of pelvic anatomy.
• Demonstrates skills and ability to locate normal anatomical and fetal abnormalities.
• The sonographer must be able to provide correct fetal measurements and patient history.
• Sonographer is responsible for reviewing the schedule and appropriately documenting for correct charge entries.
• The sonographer is responsible for exam set-up, physician assistance, patient care, and operation of all department equipment.
