Job description

Assistant Vice President of Investor Relations

A Private Equity Firm based in Greenwich, CT is seeking an experienced professional to join their Investor Relations team as Assistant Vice President.

Base pay range

$130,000.00 / yr - $180,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

  • Create and continuously improve investor-facing materials, including pitch decks, quarterly updates, and performance reports.
  • Accurately calculate and verify key fund- and investment-level performance metrics (e.g., IRR, MOIC, DPI) to ensure consistency and reliability.
  • Address investor inquiries, RFPs, and DDQs by demonstrating deep knowledge of fund structures, portfolio performance, and strategic positioning.
  • Collaborate closely with investment, legal, and compliance teams to maintain alignment and accuracy across all external communications.
  • Organize and execute investor events, including annual meetings, advisory board sessions, and one-on-one meetings.
  • Manage and improve CRM systems and investor portals to ensure efficient and accurate information delivery.
  • Champion process enhancements and uphold high standards of precision, timeliness, and professionalism across all investor communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance or related field
  • 4 to 8 years of experience in Investor Relations, performance reporting, or analytics within private equity, credit, or alternative asset management.
  • Strong grasp of fund accounting, valuation methodologies, and performance measurement frameworks.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with CRM platforms and portfolio management tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; comfortable interacting with sophisticated institutional investors.
  • Highly organized and detail-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and collaborative, with a proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, team-driven culture.
