Position : Analyst – Asset Management

Reports to : Managing Director of Asset Management

Location : Hybrid (four days in office, one day remote), on-site, 37 Graham Street, STE 120, San Francisco, California

Compensation : $95,000 - $120,000

Position Summary

The Asset Management Analyst reports to the Managing Director of Asset Management and serves as a key contributor in driving excellent portfolio performance across Hamilton Zanze’s multifamily investments. This role combines analyst functions (e.g., financial modeling, portfolio reporting, market research) with ownership-level responsibilities (e.g., supporting strategy execution, investor communications, and oversight of property management) with a clear pathway to grow into broader Asset Management responsibilities. The Asset Management Analyst plays a critical role in maximizing returns, enhancing asset value, and advancing HZ’s long-term investment objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

Portfolio Strategy and Oversight :

• Support with asset strategy for assigned multifamily portfolio (~3,500 units).
• Partner with property management to execute business plans, budgets, and capital projects.
• Assist in monitoring performance and drive NOI growth through revenue optimization and expense control
• Take on increasing responsibility for portfolio oversight, with the opportunity to manage select assets over time
