Job Description
We’re looking for Emergency Department Technicians who are excited to support our fast-paced emergency team and make a meaningful impact each day. In this role, you’ll work directly under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide essential patient care, assist with both clinical and non-clinical tasks, and help maintain a clean, safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
Perform assigned patient care activities under RN supervision
Support personal needs and comfort of patients
Assist with safe, clean environment upkeep
Obtain EKGs and assist with splinting
Maintain patient tracking and care documentation
Collaborative Teamwork
This role involves working closely with our team to deliver effective, patient-focused services and contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent
Training as a Certified Nurse Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, or Paramedic required upon hire and maintained
Continuing education required to maintain certification
BLS certification required upon hire and maintained
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Word; experience with Paragon Order Clinical Care Stations and Tracking Board preferred
Previous healthcare experience preferred
Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language
Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, and coworkers
Must attend splinting classes as assigned
Must be trained to obtain patient EKG
