• The RN assists physician in the care and teaching of patients. (Radiation Oncology Division)\n
• Customer Service / Patient Assistance System & Documentation\n
• Telephone Triage\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n
• A valid Florida RN license is required.\n
• Current CPR certification are required. (AHA preferred)\n
• BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).\n
• Experience in radiation therapy preferred.\n
• Experience with hematology / oncology / radiation oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred.\n
• Ability to assess patient needs and condition is essential.\n
• Must have strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.\n
• Fluency in the English language\n
• excellent oral, written communication AND computer skills is required.\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required.\n
