L ooking to hire full-time CRNA s to join this team of dedicated providers!

• Primary location is Potsdam with potential to provide outreach to other facilities.
• CRNA manages patient during procedure; will perform anesthesia on all ages.
• Skills required : Labor epidural, comfort with central line placement preferable but not required.
• Types of cases : bread and butter includes OB, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, healthy pediatrics, outpatient surgery, occasional thoracic, trauma and regional anesthesia; will insert lumbar epidural catheters, administer spinal anesthesia and will sometimes administer Axillary Brachial Plexus Blocks; though not typical, CRNA may perform other procedures and provide assistance as needed.
• Practice model : care team and independent practice. Cases are a mix of direction - supervision and independent. Position offers a lot of autonomy.
• Regular OR hours are 7 : 30 AM - 3 : 30 PM, first staff in is first staff out at end of day. CRNA schedule will be a mix of 24-hour shifts and 8 hour days for a total of 40 hours per week.
• Department Numbers : 6 full time anesthesiologists, 9 full time CRNAs, 1 part time CRNA, 3 anesthesia techs.
• Call requirement : 1 : 9. CRNA rotation covers 1st first call Su-Fr and 2nd call Saturday. CRNA is off the day after being on 1st call.
