Schedule : 40 Hours, Days, 7a-3 : 30p, Weekends Required, Full-Time, Benefit Eligible

Position Summary :

The Patient Transporter is an integral part of the patient care team providing prompt, courteous, customer-focused service to the patients, visitors, and coworkers of Boston Medical Center. The Patient Transporter is responsible for patient transport within the hospital and for miscellaneous functions as well. He / she contributes to service excellence by fostering collaboration among and between team members as well as other ancillary departments.

Requirements :

• Education : High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred
• Experience : 6-12 months previous customer service or hospital experience preferred
• Certification / Licensure : BLS / CPR certification preferred
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to lift without any limitations

Compensation Range : $17.40- $25.85

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer.
