NEW Permanent Medical Technologist 1st Shift

Location : Providence, RI area

Department : Molecular / Microbiology

Type : Full-time, Permanent

Currently seeking two ASCP-certified Medical Technologists to join a well-established clinical lab in the Providence area. These are 1st shift roles in the Molecular / Microbiology department with a consistent weekday schedule and rotating weekend / holiday coverage.

Schedule :

Monday Friday : 7 : 30 AM 4 : 00 PM

Rotating weekends and holidays

Key Responsibilities :

Perform complex molecular and microbiological testing

Analyze and interpret results, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting

Follow quality control protocols and maintain regulatory standards

Collaborate with team members and lab leadership to optimize workflow

Qualifications :

ASCP certification (required)

Bachelor s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field

Prior experience in a clinical molecular / microbiology setting preferred

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
