Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center is hiring an Inpatient Hematologist / Oncologist in Jacksonville, FL. As a physician with Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center, you will be heard and respected for your expertise.

This Hematologist Oncologist will join 2 other Hematologist Oncologist in our Oncohospitalist program.

The Oncohospitalist Program

• These Hematologist Oncologists are supported fully with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants around the clock.
• Since adding this program, our 2 Onchospitalists have provided exceptional care for many patients in the Southeast.
• Patient satisfaction and continuity of care have improved significantly.
• In fact, our patients prefer Oncohospitalists so they do not have to explain their full story, and have a physician that understands them.
• The Oncohospitalists do not have to build a patient panel, but will handle hematology / oncology consults, and care for patients on active chemotherapy.
• There is palliative care support, so they do not attend all hospice meetings.
