About The Position

Gastroenterologist Locums - Georgia, Inpatient Call Only

This holiday GI hospitalist assignment in Georgia offers manageable consult volumes with full hospital support.

Highlights

  • Inpatient only; no clinic or outpatient responsibilities
  • 24-hour call coverage over 7 total days
  • Holiday pay on Thanksgiving and Christmas
  • Quick credentialing in 45 days

Practice Setting

  • 181-bed acute care hospital
  • Adults only; consults and procedures inpatient
  • Bread & butter GI cases, ERCP preferred but not required
  • Full support staff and surgical specialties on site
  • Schedule

  • Two holiday blocks still available, you choose one or both
  • 24-hour call shifts, 8a to 8a
  • Weekday shifts require ~6-8 hours onsite; weekends are lighter
  • Cases and Procedures

  • Mix of GI consults and procedures (1-10 / day)
  • Scopes (1-2 / day); emergent procedures when needed
  • ERCP strongly preferred but not required
  • Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years
  • Georgia license required (LOQ may be considered)
  • BLS and DEA certifications
  • Travel Accommodations

  • Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage all covered
