The university is organized into our College of Art, Culture, and Scientific Inquiry ; College of Education ; Richards College of Business ; University College ; School of Communication, Film, and Media ; Tanner Health System School of Nursing ; Honors College ; Graduate School ; UWG Newnan ; and our UWG Douglasville Center .
Job Summary
The College of Education is seeking part time faculty to teach advanced level courses in various fields of study in teacher and leader education. All courses will be offered fully online. These positions may be available every semester.
Programs of Focus
M.Ed. in Instructional Technology, Media and Design
M.Ed. in Reading Instruction
Ed.S. in Instructional Technology, Media and Design
Ed.S. in Special Education
Educational Leadership Tier I (non-degree / certification only)
M.A.T. in Special Education
Required Qualifications
Education Specialist Degree in the field of focus or extensive administrative experience in K-12 schools / districts.
Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral Degree in the field of focus. Experience in K-12 administration. Experience teaching in a fully online or hybrid environment.
Familiarity and experience with the GaPSC and teacher certification requirements in Georgia.
