About The Position

Job Title : Echo Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : Cardiac Sonographer

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 8 hours (07 : 45 - 16 : 15)

Experience : Minimum 2 years required

License : State License required

Certifications : BLS, RDCS or RCS

Must-Have :

• Experience in 2-D Echo and 3-D Echo
• Adult Acute Care experience
• Experience with Bubble Study and Emergency Department scenarios
• Familiarity with ICU and OP settings
• Ability to perform portable studies
• Skills in Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE)

Description :

We are seeking an Echo Tech to join our team.

The position requires a daily caseload of 8 cases.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting.

First-time travelers are accepted.

No on-call duties are required.

The Echo suite has two echo rooms for most cases.

Some cases will require portable scans, including ICU and COVID positive patients.

Typical case types include ICU, ED, inpatient, and outpatient.

Candidates should be comfortable performing procedures in various hospital settings.

Additional skills in performing pharmacologic stress echo and working with PACS are preferred.

A background in community hospital experience is beneficial.
