Job Description & Requirements Specialty : MRI Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 12 / 01 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Title : MRI Technologist Location : Dayton, OH Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day, 3x12-Hour (07 : 00–19 : 30) Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements : Perform high-quality diagnostic MRI scans on patients of all ages using MRI scanners and related equipment. Independently perform or assist providers with MRI procedures following departmental quality standards. Prepare, administer, and document contrast media / medications per policy and regulatory guidelines. Educate patients and families on MRI procedures and safety protocols. Support continuity of care in coordination with other departments. Participate in on-call rotation and rotate every 4th weekend. Support learning experiences for student technologists. Maintain required certifications including CPR and ARRT. Must adhere to patient-centered care standards and ensure safe imaging practices. Weekly schedules rotate among various Monday–Sunday combinations as listed. Scrub color : purple / grape top (black pants allowed). Required Certifications & Education : ARRT in Radiography and ARRT in Magnetic Resonance required. State Radiologic License (Ohio) preferred. CPR required. HSD / GED required; Associate degree in Radiologic Technology / Medical Imaging required. CNMT or ARDMS may substitute for ARRT Radiography if ARRT MRI is already held.
