Environmental Safety / Emergency Management Intern

The intern will assist the Environmental Safety / Emergency Management Team with activities including :

Emergency Preparedness

• Assist in collecting, tracking and reviewing department plans reviewed annually
• Assist in establishing inventory of emergency equipment supply room and assure adequate supplies, identify needs to replace expired supplies.
• Assessment of equipment in new Incident Command Center storage
• Participate in Region 5 Consortium activities and exercises

Training

Command and Hazardous Materials Response. This intern may have opportunity to assist with that training.
