Job descriptionActive Florida 2-20 license (required). Prior independent agency experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in commercial lines sales. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Competitive base salary of $60,000 – $80,000 + commission. The ability to specialize and grow a niche book of business. A family-owned, supportive culture that values long-term growth. Stability in a respected, community-focused agency (not a call center).

Are you a driven insurance professional with a passion for building relationships and growing a book of business? We’re seeking a Commercial Lines Sales Representative to join a stable, independent agency in the Tampa Bay area. This is an excellent opportunity to bring your expertise, develop a niche, and make a real impact in a family-owned, growth-focused environment .
Our current commercial focus includes habitational and lessor’s risk , but we welcome producers with interest in other industries and classes of business.
What You’ll Do :
- Prospect and write new commercial lines accounts.
- Develop and nurture relationships with property managers, COAs / HOAs, and small-to-mid-sized businesses.
- Partner with carriers to design competitive risk management solutions.
- Ensure compliance while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
