Mammography Technologist - Sandy Springs, GA, US

Job Type : Full Time

Shifts : Days (Monday to Thursday)

Job Summary :

  • Be well-versed in all aspects of clinical breast imaging & patient care
  • Must be caring, compassionate, & possess a positive attitude
  • Operates computer and mammography equipment for image production
  • Documents patient assessment and history
  • Practices accurate and timely completion of work
  • Performs quality control measures to ensure optimal images
  • Enters and properly completes all risk and history information into the Radiology Information System (RIS)
  • Sets exam status accordingly in an accurate and timely manner

Qualifications and Requirements :

  • Must submit to a background check
  • ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist with Mammography certification. ARRT (R)(M)
  • Must have at least one year of experience as a Mammography Technologist performing screening & diagnostic exams.
  • Basic Knowledge of MQSA and ACR guidelines.
  • Basic Knowledge of mammography Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
