Bookkeeper or Accountant

Are you passionate about financial management and want to make a positive impact in our community? We are seeking a dedicated volunteer bookkeeper or accountant to join our team!

Responsibilities : The volunteer bookkeeper / accountant will maintain accurate financial records and ledgers, manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements and financial reports, assist with budget preparation and financial planning, prepare and file financial reports and tax documents as required, and provide financial insights and recommendations to the management team.

Qualifications : We are looking for someone with experience in bookkeeping or accounting (professional certification is a plus), proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
