Alliance Resource Group is partnered with a long term client in the search for their newly created Sr. Manager of Stock Plan Administration

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all aspects of equity compensation administration proactively.
  • Generate both routine and customized reports to support financial statement disclosures, including Earnings Per Share, equity award summaries, and beneficial ownership tables for SEC filings such as Forms 10K, 10Q, and proxy statements, as well as other ad-hoc reports.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and HR teams to develop communications, ensure compliance with federal / state regulations and securities laws, and contribute to management reports.
  • Ensure the accuracy and currency of participant and equity data, managing its integrity.
  • Handle equity award processes, such as grants, vesting, exercises, and terminations.
  • Regularly perform audits, analyses, and reconciliations, working with extensive data, making edits, and managing complex calculations.
  • Partner with Finance to forecast and budget equity compensation, providing equity-related reports to support monthly financial close processes and journal entries.
  • Serve as the lead for equity-related requests in partnership with internal and external auditors, and respond to auditor inquiries.
  • Provide support for tax-related matters to internal and external tax teams.
  • Implement and maintain effective SOX controls related to equity; ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Assess the impact of changes in federal and state regulations and securities laws on processes and implement updates to maintain compliance and improve efficiency.
  • Manage the relationship with the third-party stock transfer agent, acting as the main point of contact.
  • Ensure reconciliation of equity records between Stock Administration, HR, and Payroll.
  • Provide excellent customer service to plan participants and internal partners, quickly addressing equity-related inquiries, including providing training on equity matters.
  • Handle communications and requests with Class B Unit holders.
  • Maintain and update participant equity education resources on the internal company website.
  • Lead or participate in additional assigned projects.

Skills & Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in stock administration for a U.S. public company.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to self-audit for accuracy and data integrity.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Skilled in building and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Self-driven with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data.
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) license.
  • Additional Details :

  • Onsite 4 days a week in Los Angeles with remote work on Fridays.
  • Compensation up to $180,000, plus a bonus of $20k / $30k and equity.
