Print & Mail Room Support personnel work to produce & prepare year-end documents for shipping.
Job Duration This is a seasonal position. Work begins January 5th & goes through approximately the first week of February (depending upon workload).
Multiple Shifts are Available Weekday 1st Shift :
- 6 : 30am - 2 : 30pm Weekday 2nd Shift : 2 : 30pm - 10 : 30pm Weekend Shift : 9am - 5pm Work Location 7020 AC Skinner Parkway, Suite 140, Jacksonville FL 32256 Physical requirements Ability to sit / walk / stand for up to 10 hours per day Ability to lift / carry items up to 50 pounds Ability to intermittently crawl, squat, climb, twist, bend, stoop, push or pull Ability to follow policies and procedures Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide Printer and Sealer Cluster Operator This is where the process begins.
- Forms are printed by two printers, the operator properly organizes the forms in a United States Postal Services (USPS) mailing tray, and then the forms are sealed.
Possible duties include, but are not limited to :
Printing Lifting, moving and opening small / medium size boxes filled with paper Lifting paper into the printers and laying the paper in the correct printer tray with correct orientation Paying attention to both printers and the jobs they’re printing Performing a quick quality assurance (QA) to verify there is nothing visibly wrong with EACH form Keeping forms in the exact order they come out of the printer Sealing or Stuffing Lifting and moving USPS trays of forms Keeping forms exactly in order Feeding forms through sealers or stuffers Performing a quick QA to verify there is nothing visibly wrong with EACH form Placing the sealed or stuffed forms back in the correct USPS tray Following a ‘bad form’ process for reprinting Paper Runner This person is primarily responsible for supplying paper to the Printer and Sealer Cluster Operators, moving racks and lifting boxes of paper.Possible duties include, but are not limited to :
Lifting, moving and opening small / medium size boxes filled with paper Stacking and restacking small / medium size boxes filled with paper Lifting and moving USPS trays Printing USPS labels and inserting them correctly in sleeves Printing and adhering inventory labels to boxes Taking inventory of supplies Lifting, moving, and opening printer drums and toner cartridges Moving heavy 6’ x 4’ racks filled with USPS trays Assisting the Packaging Attendant (see duties below) Packaging Attendant After the forms have been through the printing process and either sealed or stuffed, they are ready to ship.This is our final opportunity to review the forms and make sure they are mailed out correctly to the recipients.Possible duties include but are not limited to :
Lifting and moving USPS trays of forms Verifying the quality of the workmanship throughout the process thus far Keeping each completed job separated from other jobs (either in-process or completed) Packaging the USPS trays into cardboard sleeves for mailing Communicating to the Lead which job has been completed and is ready for loading Counting the USPS trays for each completed job Loading the USPS trays into a U-Haul truck to be delivered to the Business Entry Mail Unit (BMEU) facility Accompanying the Lead to the BMEU to assist in unloading the USPS trays Powered by JazzHR
