Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shifts, 12-hour shifts; 36 hours per week, every other weekend.

The Registered Nurse (RN) protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities while preventing illness and injury through advocacy and treatment of patients and families. The RN is accountable for compliance with all standards of practice and professional development, promoting a caring and healing environment for patient-centered care.

Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients.

Educate patients and families in health promotion and disease management.

Utilize knowledge of pharmacology to safely administer medications.

Comply with nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements.

Participate in Nursing Shared Governance and improvement initiatives.

Engage in professional development and continuing nursing education.

Current NYS RN License.

Required experience in Cardiac Telemetry with specific skills in managing conditions such as CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI, and others.

Nursing experience of at least six months, preferably up to three years, with at least five years of direct experience.
