Med / Surg RN Job Details Location : Artesia, New Mexico (88210) - New Mexico nursing jobs Assignment Length : 13-week travel RN contract (10 / 30 / 2025 - 1 / 29 / 2026) Healthcare Setting : Acute Care - Medical / Surgical Unit (26 beds) Shift : 12-hour day shifts (7am - 7pm) Hours : 36 hours per week guaranteed Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780 - $1910 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Holiday Requirement : May be included in rotation Charting System : CPSI Dress Code : Navy Blue scrubs Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (Registered Nurse) BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience required At least 3 years of MS-Tele (Medical Surgical Telemetry) experience strongly preferred Ability to read and interpret telemetry (Mindray cardiac monitors) PCU / Stepdown nursing experience preferred Completion of required online modules prior to start (up to 20 hours; compensated for up to 6 hours) First-time travel nurses welcome!
