Responsibilities Work in a hospital float pool covering pediatric units Care for a variety of pediatric patients with both simple and complex health needs Requires Med-Surg and step-down experience 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week Weekend shifts required every other weekend Rotating holiday schedule applies No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius Provide nursing care, document patient responses, assist physicians, administer medications, and monitor physiological data Interact with patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions Delegates tasks appropriately to support staff Must follow hospital procedures and maintain a collaborative environment Assignment length is 13 weeks, with possible extension limits and separation requirements for rehire Compliance with dress code and testing / vaccination policies as required by the facility Requirements Active RN license issued by Oklahoma or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required Med-Surg and step-down experience required Basic computer skills required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-639284.
