Location : Irvine, CA 92618 (Hybrid – 2 days onsite; must live within a 30-minute commute. Local candidates only.)

Salary Range : $140,000 – $160,000 annually, based on experience

About the Role

Launchpad Careers is seeking a hands-on Salesforce Managed Package Developer Lead to architect and deliver strategic Salesforce initiatives, with a strong focus on Experience Cloud. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who can set the vision while still diving into the code. You’ll lead critical Salesforce architecture in a high-growth environment, leveraging cutting-edge AI tools to accelerate development.

With hybrid work flexibility and a collaborative, innovative culture, you’ll be at the forefront of our transition to an in-house PDO, partnering with stakeholders, product teams, and offshore developers to build scalable architecture, implement CI / CD pipelines, and optimize our Salesforce environment for long-term success.

What You’ll Do

Lead the redesign and enhancement of Experience Cloud features (e.g., labor exchange, resume builder).

Design and develop Salesforce Managed Packages for the AppExchange (2–3+ years managed packageexperience required).

Write high-quality Apex, LWC components, and automation scripts.

Architect scalable solutions and define packaging, release, and version control strategies.

Drive CI / CD initiatives and manage GitHub environments (G1 to G2 migration).

Integrate AI-driven development practices, including creating AI functionality within the managed package.

Collaborate with offshore developers and mentor junior in-house team members.

Establish frameworks and processes to improve speed, quality, and scalability of delivery.

Contribute to technical planning and foster a strong, collaborative development culture.

What You Bring

3+ years of Salesforce development and architecture experience.

Deep expertise in Salesforce Experience Cloud and platform architecture.

Strong, hands-on skills with Apex, LWC, APIs, and Flows.

Managed package development experience beyond theory—you’ve actually built and shipped packages.

Experience with GitHub, Salesforce packaging / versioning (G1 / G2).

Familiarity with AI development tools (e.g., AgentForce) and proven ability to use AI in coding.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a hybrid environment.

Salesforce Platform Developer II certification ; Architect-level certs a plus.

Location Requirements

• Must reside within Irvine or no more than a 30-minute commute of Irvine, CA.
• Able to work remotely but attend in-person meetings as required at our Irvine office.
• Not open to candidates outside the local commuting area.
