Relief Mental Health creates a new standard for mental health care, offering a continuum of innovative therapeutic interventions and responding to evolving patient needs. Relief Mental Health provides transcranial magnetic stimulation, Spravato, IV ketamine, medication management, general psychiatric care, and therapy all in an outpatient setting. We're seeking a full-time psychiatrist to join our growing team of medical professionals. The ideal candidate is clinically competent, flexible, team-oriented, and empathetic.

Evaluate individuals who are referred for psychiatric assessmentEvaluate and oversee patient care for Transcranial Magnetic StimulationEvaluate patients for Esketamine and KetamineDiagnose individuals based on psychiatric evaluation, develop treatment plans, and provide support when appropriateProvide crisis intervention and assessmentCollaborate with on-site staff to communicate with medical providers outside the organizationCompile documentation in accordance with organization's policies and proceduresCollaborate with staff clinicians to provide a comprehensive plan of care for Relief patientsRequired skills and qualifications
Doctor of medicine (MD) or doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school and completion of an approved psychiatric residency.License to practice medicine in the state of IllinoisActive DEA licenseExtensive knowledge and familiarity with DSM criteriaIn depth knowledge of psychotherapeutic methodsBoard certified or Board eligible in psychiatryExcellent interpersonal and time-management skillsPreferred skills and qualifications
Flexibility to cover multiple work sites and provide aid in crisis situationsWorking knowledge of TMS and / or experience in TMSInterest in new innovation in psychiatry
