About this role

As the Lead of SAP Security Management, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence across SAP security functions. This includes managing user access, ensuring compliance, and leading strategic initiatives that extend beyond provisioning, such as vulnerability management, automation, and onboarding of new applications. You will lead a high-performing team and collaborate closely with Identity & Access Management (IAM), Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), and Capacity Services teams to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient SAP security operations.

Your role will consist of

Operational Excellence & Performance Management

• Lead daily SAP security operations, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and access issues.
• Develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to monitor SLA adherence and drive continuous improvement.
• Create and manage an intake process to streamline request handling and maintain a manageable backlog.
• Build and maintain a strong relationship with the Capacity Services team to align resource planning and service delivery.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $126,480 - 166,005. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and / or experience.  The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.

This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
